I read the short paragraph that Brother zzzzz wrote, (see letter at end) and I agree 100%.
But, I see in the rest of this message, someone who does not have the "Promise of the Father", [Acts 1:4] [Luke 24:49] which is "the Baptism with the Holy Spirit", [Acts 1:5] which is for Power. They do not have it, do not know how to get it, and so tells everyone that no one else can have it either. Then they make up all kinds of reasons why not. Like my sister said, "If God wants me to have it, He will give it to me." While at the same time, God is telling me that He has been trying to give her the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, with the sign of speaking in other tongues, but she has been refusing to accept it.

When you hear some one speaking in a language that you do not understand, does it not sound like the "Jibber Jabber or Jibberish" that this speak of?? It sure does to me. When we hear it, who are we to say that it is not a language given to the person speaking by God Himself?? Would we say that someone speaking some rare African language is only speaking "Jibberish" because "we", the listeners, do not understand what is being said. If you went to that African nation and spoke English, would they not say that you are speaking "Jubberish".?? It all depends on where you are, does it not??
Along with this "Baptism with the Holy Spirit" goes the speaking with Other Tongues!! [Acts 2:4] Did it die out? The Bible says that it did NOT. I do not care what any man says, I am going to believe the Bible, and what the Bible says!! And the Bible says that we have the gift of Tongues, Today. Those who say that we do not, are either saying that the Bible is "Not The Word Of God" or else they are saying that "Jesus LIED" in Mark 16:17 when He said that Every Believer will speak in Other Tongues. Well I guess they could be saying that there are No Believers Today, and that there has not been any believers since the Apostles died. I am here to tell you that I am a Believer!!! And I do have the gift, and the Power to Witness, and I do have the Signs of being a Believer, as stated in Mark 16:17-18.
And who is it that has always tried to discredit what God has said? Has it not been Satan, even from the Garden of Eden. Satan has not changed his methods. He still attacks God's Words in the Bible. Satan does not want you to be a Believer! Satan does not want you to have Any Gift of the Holy Spirit! Satan does not want you to believe even one word that the Bible says! God says that you still have speaking in other tongues, Satan says that you do not. Which one will You Believe. Your choice.
God says that HE Does Not Change. Therefore, the positions He set forth "in the Church" are still "in the Church" today! [See 1Corinthians 12:28-31.] which includes the "Diversities of tongues". And all of us are Forbidden to stop anyone from speaking in Tongues. [1Corinthians 14:39] There are so many men today that try to stop everyone from speaking in Tongues, saying that it no longer exist, or trying to stop people by claiming that it is Satanic, Jesus gave warning against this. To claim that the Works of the Holy Spirit is the works of Satan, is to Blaspheme the Holy Spirit. [See Matthew 12:24-32] Ah, you say that I am talking about apples while it talks about oranges. No I am not. This applies to any of the works of the Holy Spirit. I know that some do it in all innocence, and they are walking a very dangerous line, but it is possible for them to repent and be forgiven. So where is the line drawn where there is no more forgiveness because the Holy Spirit can not forgive anything. It is when you KNOW it is by the Holy Spirit, and then continue to claim that it is of Satan.
In this letter I give you the Knowledge that The Speaking in Other Tongues IS of the Holy Spirit, and IS still in effect today. Now it is in your court, to accept God's word that it is of the Holy Spirit, and with us today, OR you can continue to deny it, thus grieving the Holy Spirit. You do not have to have the Baptism in the Holy Spirit with the sign of Speaking in Other Tongues, as the Bible says, in order to go to heaven [as some claim in error], But, It will just be a Whole lot Harder to get there without it. I tell you this from my own experience, of before, and after, receiving the Baptism in the Holy Spirit.
Consider, 1Corinthians 12, all of it. Did God give all these gifts, then take back some?? If God changes His mind about giving man all of these gifts, then He just might change His mind about letting man have Salvation!! I know that some quote the verse about some of these signs ending when perfection comes, and that is True, some of them will. But Perfection has Not come yet!! Perfection is Jesus Christ, and He has Not Returned to the Earth Yet.

Are there Miracles today? YES, I have received Miracles of Healings, confirmed by doctors. And I have had healing which other people noticed and commented on but of which I did not go to have confirmed by a doctor. Such as that I had to wear a knee brace with hinges on the side for over 15 years, because of injury, just to be able to walk. To have the Lord give to me an instant healing of that knee, as He did, is a miracle. And I have not had to wear any kind of knee brace for the last 10 years. Am I the only one? Absolutely not. Are there still people being raised from the dead today? From the documented reports that I receive from around the world, yes there are, and these have continued since the time of Jesus. But if you want to close your eyes, then you will not see any miracles. I laid hands on a lady who had an arm hurt in an auto accident, lost most of the movement of that arm. I felt the power of the Holy Spirit flow out from me to her, and her arm was healed, moving through the entire range of movement possible. But then, I watched as she walked back to the pew, that she again drew her arm back to the injured position. She refused the healing. Are you one who would refuse a healing? Or would you accept the miracle? The man who wishes to deny that miracles happen today to believers, will never receive a miracle because they do not believe, and thus rejects.
I know a man personaly, who had his mangled bones and limbs healed one day at the Altar, documented by his doctors, his wife, his children, and everyone who knew him. (He had fallen from a great height, breaking most of his bones, and had to wear metal braces for his arms, back, and legs, just to move, and was in constant pain, before he was healed.) But I am sure that the writer of the letter in question would not believe it because he did not personaly see it happen.
The man who says that he does not believe in miracles because He, personally, has not seen any broken, twisted arms and legs healed. He also has not seen any eyes healed. [ mine was - confirmed by a doctor] He says that he does not believe any internal healing because he can not see it with his own eyes. My prostrate was healed after prayers for it's healing. Before, there were three specialist doctors who said I needed a biopsy, because all test, both physical and chemical, indicated a growth that was probable cancer. When I went for the biopsy after having been prayed for healing, the doctor specialist looked at the test (after prayers) and said "what are you here for? everything is normal! But since you are here, I will do the biopsy anyhow, but it will be a waste of time." And that was what the biopsy showed, normal. And the chemical test shows it normal now also. I do not care if this man can see my Miracle healing or not, my doctors did. And I did. And I praise my Lord God for the healing.
I have a son who had to go into a hospital because he had cancer at age 26. While he was in the hospital, he died, and the Lord sent him back. Then the lord performed so many miracles, for, and around him, that over 40 people came to the Lord for Salvation, including one of his doctors who was an atheist. You try telling all those people that there are no miracles today. And yes, he is healed. Not remission, healed. Since 1988.
I have another son who had a furnace blow up in his face when he tried to light it. His eyebrows were burned off, his beard growth burned, his hair over his forhead singed and curled. His face burned except for the area of his eyes. His eyes and eyelashes were not touched. No damage to the eyelashes. Forhead burned, nose and cheeks burned, hair burned off all around the eyes, but the eyes and eyelashes were not touched. Just like there was a hand over the eyes. You will not convince my son, or the doctors in the hospital that day, or my Pastor, or me and my wife, or anyone else that saw him that day, that a miracle had not taken place.
I could go on about all the good things that My Lord God does for HIS People, who Believe whatever He says.

Does Satan do healings? He can, and will, in order to deceive, even the elect. The Bible says so. How can you tell which is which? Again, the Holy Spirit will show you what is wrong. Are there Pentecostal, or Charismatic, meetings where healings are claimed without proofs? Yes there are, and many big named Evangelist are in this category, caught in their lies, they always claim that they didn't say that, or that we misunderstood. Always, does it Glorify God? or does it Glorify the man, pastor, evangelist? But because some are false, does that mean that everyone is false?
Do not reject all because of the counterfeits, for that is the way, and will of Satan. Rather ask God to guide you into All of His Truths.

zzzz, I'm concerned with the speaking of tongues lately I have run into a huge amount of people on chat boards taking up for one another and telling me not to knock the usage of tongues today, but every time they tell me this they are doing one of two things... They either speak Jibber Jabber or Jibberish, or they speak in tongues at home alone as a personal prayer language for what they believe is a direct communication to Jesus Christ... When I pray to Christ I feel a Love and warmth and feeling of security but never once have I spoke in tongues... I believe what these other Christians are doing is point blank telling me they are confused... Originally Tongues at Pentecost was another language that others present understood and also realize the speakers of tongues did not speak let us say French or Spanish ... But the usage of Jibberish in prayer, is I believe according to the Bible, a deception and needs to be addresses on the chat board as mostly women there trying to be self empowered and seeking their own definition of the use of tongues... Personally since reading your letter about my Vision from 20 years ago I believe your correct in saying it was not of God but indeed of Satan... This vision did not bring me into reading the Bible... Instead it gave me security enough to keep me away from the Bible... Now sense no one on the chat board can show me a person who has had obvious withered hands or arms or bent bones from polio healed, I have and incredibly hard time believing they witnesses cancers healed as you can't see inside someone's skin... If their were really people being healed today of heart decease then to there would also be some being healed of bent bone diseases... Therefore knowing falsehoods by there fruit, all of these so called diseases being cured that under the flesh and not distinctively seen are lies... Just as my Vision was a lie I now see this and thank you for your help in pointing this out... I believe Jesus Performed miracles abut now I can see they were cut off at the 69th week just as Christ was cut off... Maybe some of the 12lth healed people to after Christ was taken up to Heaven but they were the Hem of his garment so to speak... If these miracles today were happening they would indeed include the healing of unbelievable things such as children missing arms or legs from birth or from accident... Since Christ could heal these things, and current man cannot, We can then conclude easily that the usage of this phony Jibberish prayer tongues is also a lie of Satan... These ladies on the chat board who believe this know a great deal of scripture as did I... And as I had been fooled for 20 years about my vision from the angel of light, I now believe also these ladies are too being deceived...
As for my own personnel Salvation... I feel different these last few days... As if a stone has been lifted off of me... I asked the Lord to forgive me for whatever it was I did to receive that false Vision and immediately I felt like a vale had been taken away and I could see... My remorse from 2&1/2 years ago has finally been removed... I want to thank you for helping to shed away that trap I was following... Currently I am looking into keeping the real Jewish Sabbath as did Christ... It was not until I realized all peoples from all Christian sects were following this false prophet that My answer came, when you showed up with knowledge and personal experience of the same thing I had gone through... I feel today I am finally ready to accept Christ for what he represents... I am not the least interested with life's cares anymore... For some time, I have not been easily swayed and knew something was missing from my faith...Oddly I have found something had actually been added, by way of believing in my vision as being sent from God... Faith comes from hearing and reading the word of the Bible... Faith does not come from believing there is something extra in it for me by way of miracles today... All these folks believing in the speaking of Tongues and Vision/Dreams, that their experiencing always have a flaw as not one of them can show me a real miracle of a person who had mangled bones or missing limbs, restored... Therefore It was easy for me to conclude, that if not one credible miracle of the sort I explain has been accomplished since the time of Christ, then indeed none of the Miracles of Pentecost are occurring today... This alone brings us to-know them by their fruit... They believe the lie... And they take up for one another in their lack of faith without signs and wonders ... The great deception has begun... Imagine for these folks what It will be like when the Rapture does not happen and they are left here to see the miracles of Satan... Their already deceived and so, I imagine eventually as we see them currently taking up for one another now, that their hearts are becoming hardened to the truth... Without their speaking in Jibberish or their so called Visions of Christ, they would find it hard to keep their current faith... For me, I have taken an unusual route different from many as I was a Loner for many years after having been extremely popular... It was easier for me to be open to what your talking about zzzzz... For other's who need security and enjoy this life's wonders, I fear it will be much harder for them to see the truth as you present that the Miracles of Pentecost are currently not happening... Once Again Bless you through Jesus Christ our redeemer... I felt the chains come off when I looked at the proof you gave... God is happy with you zzzzz... Your doing good works of faith...
Now I see and believe on the Christ who performed miracles 2000 years ago and not on the Pie in the Sky that so many follow today... Once again zzzz, thank you for shedding the light... I hope you will address the false tongues and miracles of today on the chat board... Maybe a few people will be given that same Grace, given me...
