Hi Rev. Jack Barr:

Question:
In many of Ray Aguil's prophecies, God mentioned about "hiding when everything stops". I would like to know if the hiding is a literal hiding, or if the hiding is a figurative hiding (like just trusting in Jesus)...

Thank you for explaining.

Answer:
The "hiding" is a literal hiding, just as the Christians in the first couple of centuries following Christ had to actually hide in order to stay alive. An example is of the Christians hiding in the Catacomes of Rome. This was not only in the past but is happening at this day and age in many countries. In China, the True Christians have gone into hiding several years ago, and now meet in homes, barns, anywhere they can. When they are caught, they are imprisoned and many put to death. And this from some of the latest reports in early 2001.

There are countries today where to be known as a Christian means almost certain death for that person. The Christians are being persecuted all across the world today and the persecution is becoming more severe each year.

Yes, the hiding spoken of in the prophecies is a literal hiding, that is, if you want to live.

But let me give a warning!!! If you are caught, Do not think that you can get through it by denying that you are a Christion, believing that if you do not mean it in your heart that it is alright. For the Bible warns us repetedly that If YOU DENY CHRIST that Christ will deny you. If you deny that you are a Christian, then you are denying Christ, and will loose your soul. That is just as bad as taking the mark of the beast. There is NO return from those decisions.

Matthew 10:32-33 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 16:25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

In the above verses (some of several), it is clear that if you deny that you are a Christian in order to save your life on this earth, you will lose life in the next world -- your Salvation. However, if you are put to death because you are a Christian and will not renounce Christ, then you are promised Eternal Life with God.

Yes, Yes, I know that you are going to point out that the Apostle Peter denyed Christ three times in one night. And if you are convinced that you can deny Christ like Peter did, even in view of the above scripture spoken by Jesus Christ, then do as you will.
